Suggestions for LED headlights

I'm currently looking for a new LED headlight for my 2018 500e. According to my research, it is important to choose one with a CANbus control unit. Can someone enlighten me on that one? Also, any recommendations or tips on finding the best one for optimal brightness and longevity will be greatly appreciated!

I found out that leds with a canbus are essential for error-free performance. This will prevent our vehicle from showing any warning lights. But since we have an EV, it already has a canbus system, so I guess we can use led bulbs without canbus. I've been using Auxito 9012 for a year and they work great.!

A CANbus control unit helps prevent error codes or flickering when upgrading to LEDs, especially in cars like the 500e. You can look for headlights labeled “CANbus-ready” or “error-free” to avoid issues. Hmmm and dor brightness and longevity, try brands like Auxbeam or Fahren they tend to offer solid performance.

LED upgrades make such a difference on the 500e! CANbus control basically keeps the car’s computer from freaking out about the lower power draw. If you're just after solid performance without going overboard, the Philips Ultinon Essential LEDs are simple, bright, and error-free. Easy swap for a big improvement in nighttime visibility.

I prioritize reputable brands so I suggest you do the same eventhough it can be more expensive. Check online reviews and forums for recommendations specific to the 500e as some LEDs might fit better or provide better light output than others. Also don't just go for the absolute brightest coz sometimes it can cause glare for other drivers. Make sure to get it professionally installed.
