I think the new Fiat 500e, if they manage to get the range right and price it somewhere around $30k, would be great for traveling between cities. I'm really hoping that Fiat decides to import it to North America. And fast charging would be a huge plus, wouldn't it?

The 500e is a cool little EV, but I wonder if Fiat can make it competitive in North America. It’s gotta have good range, a solid price, and at least decent DC fast charging, otherwise, it might struggle. I love the design, and I think it’s a perfect second car or city commuter, but is there enough demand in the U.S. and Canada to justify bringing it here?

Agreed! A $30K price with solid range and fast charging could make the 500e a great city-to-city EV. I hope Fiat delivers.

Imagine if they rolled out a RWD or AWD Abarth version! With all the crazy progress in electric motors these days, it feels like it wouldn’t be too hard to pull off.
