I’ve noticed something interesting while charging at 50kW chargers, there’s a fan noise that kicks in. I don’t hear any fan noise when charging at 11kW or 7kW, though. So I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

I've used the 50kW charger a few times, but I haven't really noticed any noise like you mentioned. That said, it's pretty likely that a cooling fan kicks in when it's charging quickly for a while.

I think it also depends on how hot or cold it is outside, and how warm the battery is. Like, if you've been driving, it'll charge faster than if it's been sitting there for a while.

Yeah, that makes sense, probably the cooling fan kicking in during faster charging. I'll keep an ear out next time to see if it's consistent.

I hadn't considered the temperature and recent driving affecting it, so yeah, it make sense the fan might vary with that, thanks
