I've been noticing some weird battery drain lately in my 2014 Fiat 500e. It's been losing more than a percent per mile even when I'm just cruising around, and it's not even under heavy acceleration.

I'm not really pushing the car hard, and it's got about 65k miles on it. Could it be something other than just general battery degradation?

There are lots of factors that could affect the % per mile. What are your driving conditions and speeds like? What is the weather like too? How long have you had your car? Do you use AlfaOBD?

I know that many owners have reported a reduction in the car’s electric range over time. Some said they experienced a decrease of up to 10-20% after 3-5 years of ownership. For how long have you had the car?

Take a look at a few things as well, like the tire pressures, alignment, and check if the brakes are dragging at all. You might wanna peek at the regen braking too, it seems like it’s not working quite right. Increased heater usage and the humidity sensor remaining connected could be causing the AC compressor to run non-stop.

Just remember, wear and tear is totally normal for any ride!
