I'm back in the 500e family with a used 2013 model and I'm curious about the lifespan of the original battery. Has anyone here reached 250k miles on their Gen1 500e battery without a replacement?

I've been looking at the community-submitted battery data and my own OBD readings, and it seems like my battery has around 2/3 of its original capacity. I'm wondering if there's any data out there that can help predict how much longer it will last.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with Gen1 500e batteries and can share their insights.

The OBD data for battery health in the 2013-19 500e is quite unreliable! Seriously, my own car has gone from a wild 100% down to about 75% after just 120 miles of city driving. Talk about a mood swing!

Anyways, just keep in mind, that with a little TLC and the right charging habits, these battery packs can hang in there for quite a while. Plus, Fiat’s programming does a solid job of helping them last longer.

You know, the lifespan and performance of EV batteries, like in the FIAT 500e, can really vary based on a few different factors. It depends on your driving habits, the weather where you live, and how you charge the battery. So whether you're just running errands around town or parked at home, it all makes a difference!
