How to lock the 500e icon on leaving? Pebble passive entry

My friend can't find details about the pebble key passive entry. The car unlocks and starts with no issues, but she doesn't know how to lock the car on leaving. Any thoughts on her situation? I don't know how to help her either. Btw, her car is a 500e icon.

For the 500e Icon, locking with the pebble key should work automatically when walking away, as long as the key is on her. If it's not locking, she may need to tap the key on the car's handle or check settings for passive entry.

She can also use the button on the boot/trunk. It does the same. Is she opens only the trunk, when she closes it back, the car will lock, too.

Actually the 500e doesn't unlock itself, but you can open the door with the key. It knows which door you want to open.
