Hey, guys! I really need your help.
Tomorrow I want to go for a long drive, but unfortunately, I have some issues with the charging part. Last week I had to buy another charging cable because the original one (110V) failed. So I bought an after-market one (240v). The car charges fully, but I am concerned about the cell balancing. So I used the AlphaOBD and I noticed that the cell with the highest voltage at 100% was the same as the one with the highest voltage at 4%. Also, the cell with the lowest voltage at 100% was the same as the one with the lowest voltage at 4%. So, this means the cells are not balanced. I tried to do it using the OBD. But it didn't work.
Am I missing something? Do you know if the car needs to be in a specific state for the balancing command to function?
Also, could be the charging cable a factor?
I really need your thoughts because tomorrow I have to go.
P.S. The car is a 2018 Fiat with a range close to 100 miles.
