We're thinking about switching wife's 2011 Toyota Verso to an EV. Her low mileage (less than 3,000 miles a year) makes it seem perfect. We've been eyeing the Fiat 500e, especially the Icon versions. They seem to be good priced for a low-mileage 2022 model. Anyone have experience with these and do you think it's a good first EV for someone who barely drives?

Do you own any other vehicles besides the Verso? Some people find it helpful to have both an EV and ICE vehicle for different needs.

The 500e is generally considered reliable. I've had no problems with mine after 30kmiles.

My sister recently switched to a Fiat 500e. She loves it for solo driving, and the 199-mile range is perfect for city trips and short journeys like London to Brighton. Even though I'm 5'11", I was surprised by how spacious the electric version is. I had plenty of headroom and legroom, even with the seat all the way up.

She charges once a week for her city driving and only pays minimal. Electroverse is a great option. The only downside of the Action and Icon models is the halogen headlights. The LED headlights on the Prima version are much better but come at a higher cost. However, the range and interior comfort are similar.
