Hello, guys! As you probably know, not so long ago I became the owner of a 2018 500e with 41k miles (now it is close to 45k miles). Took it to a service here in Carson City, and along with some brake issues, they said the AC/blower motor has a worn-out bearing and asked me for a $800 cost (tax included). I also had to replace a tire, filter, and 12V battery and had a tune-up done for almost $600. Now I am looking for a new service center because the last one I went to asked for a $550 diagnostic fee, which is crazy. So, any recommendation?

I can see on the first thread of yours, someone recommended Capital Ford. Did they ask you for $550 or another service?

Why don't you replace the motor yourself?

If you're handy with DIY repairs, you can buy a heater blower motor and install it yourself; otherwise, you can have it installed by a reputable mechanic.

Hey, everyone! Just wanted to update you all. I ended up replacing the blower motor myself after doing some research and watching a few videos. It wasn't as difficult as I thought, and I saved a lot compared to what the service center quoted. Thanks for the push, @IEat^Wheels56 and @NovaNomad_. If anyone needs tips or recommendations on how to tackle it, just reply here.

That's my man! Well done! Maybe you can write a new post with the process of doing the work.
