I recently took delivery of my new to me 2021 500e with just 1000 miles, and the charging system is already completely out of order. It’s heading in for repairs on Thursday, but I’ve lost trust in it.
The problem started with the home 7kW Type 2 charger, which only worked about once in every 10 attempts. A charger at one station was fine until this week when both stopped working. I had 13% charge left and was stranded 12 miles from home.
Now I’m getting the "Service Charging System" warning. Hoping they can sort it out.
