I just learned a lesson about bad wheel bearings! Our 2015 500e started sounding rough after a dip in some floodwaters, and my wife noticed the range dropping on her work commute. Got the bearing replaced today, and WOW - what a difference! Before the fix, the car barely hit 48 miles on a charge. After? Same route, similar speeds, but the new bearing gave us a theoretical max range of 69 miles! Even with colder temps on the way out and some highway driving, that's pretty sweet. Anyone else experience such a big range boost from a simple fix?

fixing simple things in any vehicle will improve the overall performance. even just putting grease on motor vehicles improves the consistency of its function. Because of that, I am now scheduling maintenance checks just to make sure that everything works well.
