Wrong windshield - no replacement or refund

Hello everyone!

A few months ago I had to replace my car's windshield.

Because I had a lifetime warranty on it, as soon as the plastic pieces covering the rearview mirror wiring fell off (a few weeks later), I called the company. Of course, they didn't come, because I was in another city, where my home is. This is why I went to a local shop to glue the pieces (that was all the job to do). But, guess what? At the local shop, I noticed the windshield was wrong. I called the company, and they just screamed at me, refusing to fix or refund it. Now I am looking into mediation first, then some small claims. Crazy, uh? I wish you guys no experiences like this one.

That sounds frustrating! It’s unfortunate that the company wouldn’t help you, esp. with a lifetime warranty.
Anyway, how did you even notice the windshield was off? I mean, why did it took you a few months to even realize that? lol

What do you mean? It didn't take me months to realize that. As soon as I realized the windshield had fallen off, I replaced it. After a few weeks, the plastic pieces that cover the rearview mirror wiring fell off, too.
