FIAT 500e key fob low battery

Despite replacing the battery in my key fob, the low battery notification keeps appearing. Is there any way to disable it?

Every time you change any parts of your car needs to be registered in its system and be accessed only through a computer system. The system needs to identify and accept the parts you have changed. Especially if the trouble icon already appeared in your dashboard. Just visit your local dealership, it will not take too much of your time.

One possibility is that the fob isn't communicating properly with the car. Try cleaning the metal contact points of your fob by using a soft, dry cloth.

Thanks guys for your suggestions! Unfortunately, neither of them worked. The only solution was to buy a new key fob.
