I’ve hit the point where my 2016 500e needs its coolant replaced. Over time, the coolant gets more acidic, so it’s important to change it out. Now, I'm curious, there are two types of coolant used in these cars, right? Does anyone know which ones they are? And is there some kind of special bleeding procedure I need to follow?

First, do you have a lifetime membership of the AlfaOBD app? Get it, because there is a special bleeding procedure.
Now, every 2013 through 2019 500e has only one type of coolant used in both reservoirs/radiators. The 2 different item numbers are just because one is concentrated & the other is pre-diluted.

Great, I’ll check the AlfaOBD app for the bleeding procedure.

The part numbers for the coolant concentrate and pre-mixed coolant are 68104496AA and 68104494AA, respectively.
