Why did my battery level drop?

So I got this charger from Zencar last week and I usually charge my car up to 80% without any issues. But last night, I thought I'd fully charge it to 100% for a long trip. To my surprise this morning, the battery level dropped to 92%. Seriously, what's the deal with that? Have you ever experienced something like this with your Fiat 500e?

That's normal. It's because of the outside temp. Batteries tend to lose range a bit faster in the cold.

No need to worry. There's a minimal level loss during certain conditions, especially with EVs.

My experience with my 500e is that sometimes charging to 100% can lead to a slight drop due to temperature or battery management software kicking in. It’s pretty common for the system to reduce the charge slightly to protect the battery. It’s not a big issue, but I’d suggest keeping it around 80% for daily use.
