Fitting a light in the glovebox of the 500e – Anyone tried it?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed a light inside the glovebox of their 500e? I feel like it could be super helpful for better visibility, especially at night. If you've done it, I'd love to hear how you went about it or any tips you might have! TIA

I added a small LED strip inside the glovebox, and it makes a world of difference at night. I used a battery-powered motion sensor light, so I didn’t have to deal with wiring. Just stuck it in with adhesive tape, and it works like a charm! If you’re comfortable with some wiring, you could tap into an existing power source, but for a quick fix, battery-powered is the way to go.

That sounds like a great idea! I haven’t done it, but an LED strip with a switch could work.
