We just got our La Prima and love it! It’s our first electric car, and we’re a bit confused with the start-stop feature and handbrake. In D mode (normal or range), do I need to manually release the handbrake every time I stop? And when I press the accelerator, should it disengage automatically, or do I need to do something? It feels a bit complicated, so I might be doing something wrong.

You don't have to use the handbrake unless you want to park. When you want to go to a stop, just move your foot to the brake pedal. And when you are ready to go, just start pressing the acceleration pedal.

The handbrake should disengage automatically when you press the accelerator. If it doesn’t, double-check if there’s an auto-hold function activated.

The handbrake’s pretty much just for parking, so no need to mess with it while you're driving. What made you think you needed it right then?
