I’ve been enjoying my La Prima 42kWh for about a month mainly on shorter trips but now I’m planning my first long journey and wondering what kind of realworld range I should expect at higher speeds.

Starting at 99-100% charge my estimated range shows 160-165 miles but I know motorway driving at 75-80 mph can significantly affect efficiency.

For those who’ve done longer trips can you share your experience? What was your remaining charge after a longer motorway drive? Did you adjust your speed for better efficiency? Any key strategies for planning stops and managing energy use?

At 75-80 mph, expect your 500e’s real-world range to be around 110-120 miles instead of the optimistic 160+ miles at lower speeds. I’d say plan for a fast charge every 90-100 miles to be safe. It’s a fun road trip car, but high speeds definitely drain the battery faster.

So many things can affect this, it's hard to give a simple answer. Think about the terrain, how many people are in the car, and how much stuff you're carrying.
